Shoulder Pain

The glenohumeral (shoulder) joint is a big part of the shoulder girdle. Shoulder girdle stability plays an integral role in the musculoskeletal health of the entire upper body. Any pain, tension and/or  limitation in movement in the upper body requires the assessment of the shoulder girdle stability in order to find the root problem and for a treatment to deliver long-lasting therapeutic results. Dysfunction of the glenohumeral joint is usually treated by activating inhibited muscles, eliminating neurogenic inflammation (calcitonin gene-related peptide, substance P, neurokinin A) and clearing trophic changes (taut muscle bands, muscle knots, spasms, scar tissue) in the soft tissue. Our well-rounded approach to treat shoulder pain will not only help the shoulder itself but will also improve the entire body’s mechanics.
